Easygo, created by designer Xingyue Deng, addresses a pressing challenge faced by elderly individuals in older Asian walk-up buildings where installing external elevators is not feasible. The brand's visual identity was inspired by the Chinese characters for 'Up' and 'Down,' ingeniously transformed into arrow-like symbols that transcend language barriers. This approach ensures that even non-literate users can intuitively understand the elevator's purpose, making everyday mobility more accessible and dignified for seniors.

The design stands out for its unique integration of cultural symbolism and universal design principles. The use of a circle motif signifies vitality, while the up and down arrows directly reference the elevator's function. By prioritizing clarity and simplicity, Easygo's branding effectively communicates with both the elderly end-users and the younger purchasers, bridging generational and linguistic gaps. The visual identity's minimal, vibrant aesthetic not only enhances usability but also reflects a thoughtful approach to storytelling and user experience.

Beyond its visual elements, Easygo's commitment to sustainability is evident in its manufacturing and packaging choices. The elevator system utilizes durable, energy-efficient materials, and the packaging employs eco-friendly kraft paper to minimize environmental impact. The product's technical design features dual tracks for increased capacity and a hook-type mechanism for space-saving installation. Launched in Chengdu and Beijing in 2023 and exhibited at the 2024 Hong Kong Design Summit, Easygo has set a new benchmark for inclusive, functional, and sustainable design in the urban mobility sector.
