ARBO design introduces ExyOne Shoulder, a groundbreaking wearable exoskeleton designed to reduce effort and improve safety for Brazilian workers.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ARBO design proudly presents ExyOne Shoulder, a wearable exoskeleton designed to revolutionize the Brazilian market by offering accessible equipment to small and medium-sized companies. This innovative exoskeleton aims to reduce injuries and improve performance by integrating IoT technology, providing a user-centered design tailored to the diverse Brazilian population.
The ExyOne Shoulder is the first exoskeleton with entirely Brazilian technology and design, addressing the specific needs of Brazilian workers and their biotypes. It is customizable, ergonomic, and low-maintenance, representing a significant advancement in the industrial wearable technology sector.
The wearable exoskeleton is manufactured using folded carbon steel tubes, 3D printing, and various other advanced techniques. Its design and materials ensure optimal ergonomics and safety, with dimensions of 430mm in width, 300mm in depth, and 550mm in height.
The ExyOne Shoulder is designed to be easily worn and adjusted by the operator, transferring efforts from the exoskeleton arms to the body in a gradual manner, thereby reducing muscular strain. The wearable backpack design allows for fast and autonomous use, enhancing user experience and safety.
Developed in Brazil and completed in July 2019, the ExyOne Shoulder project involved extensive research, including desk field studies, focus groups, and consumer insights, to ensure a consumer-centric approach. The interdisciplinary collaboration with designers, engineers, and workers resulted in an exoskeleton that empowers workers, offering comfort, washability, and IoT integration for data collection and analysis.
ARBO design, based in Curitiba, Brazil, has a rich history of collaborating with global companies and has received numerous awards for its innovative designs. The team behind ExyOne Shoulder has approximately 40 patents and continues to make a positive impact on businesses and people through their design-based approach.
