CHIH LIANG LIU, a renowned international lighting designer, unveils "Wonderland," a landscape installation at Beimen Visitor Center, Tainan City, Taiwan. Inspired by the harmony of a utopian island, the installation aims to create a symbiotic relationship between architecture and the environment.
The installation, featuring concrete and steel structures, is complemented by a central sapling symbolizing environmental devotion and growth. The balance between man-made architecture and environmental protection is a key highlight of this unique installation.
Constructed using precise triangle rules and concrete pouring techniques, the installation integrates LED lighting and 3D digital modeling to create an immersive experience for visitors. The design features stainless steel pipes, high-strength paint, hardwood ladders, heavyweight concrete, and Indian almond, spanning 4000*15000 mm.
Wonderland offers a multifaceted experience, serving as a recreational and relaxing space during the day and transforming into an enchanting illuminated environment at night. The installation, initiated in November 2019, is a permanent fixture at Beimen Visitor Center, Tainan City, Taiwan.
