Discover the innovative Footsync app, a portable system inspired by the interactive lights of Footlight Square, Madrid, offering cognitive games and brain-capacity tests to prevent neurological diseases.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Footsync is a groundbreaking app that extends the experience of Footlight Square, implementing interactive lights and cognitive games to prevent neurological diseases. This portable system allows users to access cognitive games, track progress, and synchronize stats, providing a seamless experience away from the physical installation.
The design process for Footsync involved the use of programs such as Sketch, Photoshop, and After Effects, following a meticulous methodology outlined in The Elements of User Experience by Jesse James Garret. The app is responsive, adapting to fit every device and screen, ensuring a user-friendly experience.
When accessing the app, users are greeted with a main menu featuring different screens related to the project. Footsync implements a near "Buttonless" design, reducing the use of buttons and relying on gestures for ease of navigation.
The project, which commenced in September 2020 and concluded in May 2021 in Madrid, underwent extensive research, including external and internal analyses, conceptual and systemic mapping, and the use of various analytical tools to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the project's context.
One of the most significant challenges faced during the development of Footsync was capturing the essence of real interactive lights in an app or website without overwhelming the user. The resulting visual elements and interface design successfully convey the captivating experience of Footlight Square's interactive lights.
Carlos Jiménez GarcÃa, the mastermind behind Footsync, is a visionary designer dedicated to bringing impossible dreams to life. Hailing from Madrid, Spain, Carlos has been recognized with the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in Mobile Technologies, Applications, and Software Design for his outstanding and trendsetting creation.
