niroKey: The Universal Face Recognition Device

Fan Yang's niroKey is a groundbreaking universal face recognition device designed to streamline access control, conference sign-in, company attendance, visitor reception, and payment scenarios. It offers a seamless user experience, enhancing enterprise smart management efficiency.

With an elegant and round design, niroKey features 2.5D curved glass and matt white CMF, creating a unibody design language for a more user-friendly experience. The device boasts rapid heat dissipation using aluminum material, ensuring excellent overall performance.

Equipped with visible light and infrared cameras, niroKey ensures high safety through biological recognition. The device's fill light, subtly hidden in the gradient printing details at the top of the screen, allows it to function normally in backlit or dark environments.

Measuring 400mm x 140mm x 140mm, niroKey offers wireless control and a touch screen for richer self-service functions, such as visitor service and self-checkout. Users can easily register by uploading selfies to the cloud with their mobile phones.

The project began in March 2019 in Beijing and concluded in January 2020. niroKey was first unveiled at Baidu Create 2019 – Baidu AI Developer Conference in July 2019 and exhibited at the 2019 Baidu ABC INSPIRE Summit in September 2019.

Recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in 2020, niroKey sets a new standard for practical, innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements, contributing to a better world.
