FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The AgoraFloreasca UrbanTheory project, led by renowned designer Helen Brasinika, redefines the concept of a small-scale mall by integrating landscape, interior, and lighting design to create a unique urban recreation space. The project's inspiration stems from the idea of centrality and direct connection to the community, reflected in the logo designed by the award-winning practice Brandient. This inspiration is translated into spatial design, forming a seamless connection from the ground to the top level of the atrium.
What sets AgoraFloreasca UrbanTheory apart is its focus on creating a vibrant, urban gathering venue preferred by quality-conscious visitors. The project aims to offer a unique assortment of services and a welcoming environment, catering to the needs of the community. The use of advanced technology and carefully selected materials such as Corian Dupont, Etalbond, polycarbonate, aluminum, and magnum ceramic tiles by Florim ensures both high-quality production and sustainability, meeting strict national regulations for fire security.
The mall spans four levels of activity, with each level offering a distinct experience, from active and body rejuvenation to dining, shopping, and pampering. The design seamlessly integrates indoor and outdoor elements, creating a unifying destination landmark that transforms the city into a vibrant hub, especially at night when the lighting design illuminates the space with striking visual effects.
The AgoraFloreasca UrbanTheory project was conceptualized in June 2018 and delivered in December 2018, reflecting a swift and efficient design process. The design is underpinned by extensive research, incorporating elements of Future Cities Design and sustainable practices to create a multi-cultural urban experience destination.
Helen Brasinika's AgoraFloreasca UrbanTheory has been recognized with the prestigious A' Design Award, earning the Golden A' Design Award in Hospitality, Recreation, Travel, and Tourism Design in 2020. This accolade reflects the project's outstanding creativity, innovation, and its significant impact on the world of design and technology.
