Intangible Heritage Knowledge Platform

BAIDU MEUX has launched the Intangible Heritage Knowledge Platform, a digital knowledge base aimed at preserving and promoting China's Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH). The platform is a collaborative effort between the ICH Encyclopedia, China's Ministry of Culture, UNESCO, and ICH bearers, providing users with a comprehensive understanding of ICH through various media forms.

The platform is designed to address the challenges faced by ICH, such as the aging of bearers, loss of traditional skills, and diminishing commercial value. By integrating modern design with traditional elements, the platform offers a unique "Internet plus non-heritage" communication mode, enabling users to quickly and deeply comprehend the intangible culture.

Utilizing a variety of media forms, including pictures, videos, and audio, the platform aims to bridge the gap between bearers and users, facilitating the recording and dissemination of valuable intangible cultural content. It is adaptable for PC and all devices on iOS and Android, ensuring accessibility for a wide audience.
