FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Aija Freimane's postdoctoral research in design has successfully decoded the added value of design, shedding light on the perspectives of users spanning five generations and four socioeconomic class groups. The study recommends perceived value indicators that measure satisfaction, happiness, and well-being as end results of product and service usage.
The research, conducted from October 2017 to September 2020 in Latvia and financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the Republic of Latvia, presents an innovative approach to analyzing design's socioeconomic impact. The main research results are documented in the book "Research for Design," offering valuable insights into the user-centered design-driven businesses.
