FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Bonggu (Jeremy) Kang introduces Saintly Flavours, a luxurious gourmet food gift set designed to captivate high-end consumers. Inspired by the 2018 Met Gala fashion theme of Catholicism, the collection embodies the rich tradition of high-quality food made by medieval monasteries. Each product from seven Abbeys of France represents values of Catholicism such as Meditation, Benediction, Generosity, Moderation, Patience, Reward, Happiness, Integrity.
The project's focus on creating an artistic and luxurious look aims to catch the eyes of high-end store consumers. The ornate and traditional style of illustrations, including the logo and detailed Abbey illustrations, adds a touch of medieval elegance. The thick papers with textures resembling an artist's sketchbook were used for the boxes and labels, enhancing the artistic and luxurious feel of the gift set.
Saintly Flavours features a wine set, jam jars, and a cracker box, all stacked up like an architectural masterpiece inside a fitted outer container. The challenge of balancing ornamental elements from rich tradition with modern luxury appeal was overcome through the mindful composition of graphic elements and the use of a chosen typeface.
