Yaman Hu's Low Classic project, inspired by 80s fashion, introduces a unique brand identity and typography for the digital era
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Yaman Hu's Low Classic project draws inspiration from 80s fashion magazines, featuring muted colors and unconventional typography to break the grid, targeting digital platforms such as social media, e-mails, and web banners.
Low Classic stands out by utilizing chic fabrics, classic silhouettes, and innovative details, offering a one-of-a-kind holistic view of the brand through both physical and digital products. The brand's focus on environmental sustainability is evident in the use of 100% organic materials and recycled paper for collaterals.
With a focus on minimalist design and elegant typography details, Low Classic has successfully digitized a vintage look for the e-commerce world, establishing its voice as a new designer label. The project, which began in late 2019 and concluded in mid-2020 in New York, has been recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in 2021.
