SUNG HO NAM's "Remember Me" business card design, inspired by endangered species, wins Silver A' Design Award
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
SUNG HO NAM's "Remember Me" business card design is a groundbreaking approach to redefining the conventional business card. The inspiration behind this innovative project came from the desire to transform business cards into a more meaningful form of communication. By incorporating images of 28 endangered species, the "Remember Me" business cards serve as a powerful reminder of the forgotten beings, encouraging compassion and environmental awareness.
The unique feature of "Remember Me" lies in its dual functionality, where the names of individuals and endangered species are prominently displayed. The design, resembling endangered species, is printed using environmentally friendly soybean oil and can also be used as a bookmark. Additionally, the back of the card provides space for writing notes or letters, enhancing its practicality.
Measuring 52x74mm, the "Remember Me" business cards are produced using duplex offset printing on matte paper, ensuring a high-quality finish. The project, initiated in November 2019 and completed in March 2020 in Seoul, reflects SUNG HO NAM's commitment to environmental protection and sustainability.
This exceptional design has been recognized with the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in 2021, highlighting its outstanding creativity, technical excellence, and innovative approach. SUNG HO NAM's "Remember Me" business card design not only elevates the concept of traditional business cards but also raises awareness about endangered species, making it a truly remarkable and impactful creation.
