Hee soo Son's award-winning project, Darin, reimagines traditional Korean health food packaging to appeal to a younger demographic, promoting vitality and health.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Hee soo Son's project, Darin, draws inspiration from the principles of Oriental medicine, focusing on internal healing and blood circulation. The design features a motif of blood circulation, utilizing simple, graphic clarity to appeal to modern sensibilities.
The project aims to break the reluctance of modern consumers towards traditional Korean health food products, particularly targeting individuals in their 20s and 30s. The packaging incorporates unique visual elements, such as graphic icons and patterns derived from the environment and properties of the ingredients, enhancing the overall appeal and identity of the product.
Darin's juice, made from seven carefully selected ingredients, is presented in packs and boxes designed to reflect the essence of the materials used. The project commenced in September 2018 in Korea and was completed in November 2018.
