Green Light Tea Garden Packaging: A Sustainable Tribute to Pinglin, Taiwan

Onebook Design Studio has unveiled the eco-friendly packaging for Green Light Tea Garden, located in the upper region of the Feicui Reservoir in Pinglin, Taiwan. The packaging material is made of recycled tea bag paper and tea dregs, echoing the spirit of environmental protection upheld by the founder. It features illustrations of indigenous creatures integrated into the local environment, printed with eco-friendly ink, symbolizing a harmonious relationship between nature and the world.

The packaging material is a testament to the studio's commitment to environmental protection and the preservation of indigenous species. It is made from used tea leaf residue and tea bag paper, reflecting the studio's dedication to sustainable design practices. The packaging's illustration technique combines the four creatures in Pinglin and integrates them into the local environment, creating a visually compelling representation of the region's biodiversity.

Completed in May 2020 and exhibited in Pinglin, Taiwan in July 2020, the packaging serves as a tribute to the natural beauty of Pinglin and the sustainable practices of Green Light Tea Garden. The use of environmentally-friendly ink further emphasizes the studio's dedication to promoting a symbiotic relationship between the world and nature.

Onebook Design Studio's eco-friendly packaging for Green Light Tea Garden has been recognized with the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in 2021, underscoring its remarkable contribution to sustainable design and environmental stewardship.
