FLUIDS: Interactive Installation Redefining Light and Liquid Flow

FLUIDS is a revolutionary interactive art program designed by Kevin Sun (SunGuang) that challenges traditional perceptions of light and liquid flow. Through a combination of digital multimedia and computational fluid dynamics, FLUIDS creates a mesmerizing visual experience that blurs the boundaries between art and technology.

Utilizing six HD projectors, a 32m x 4m projection screen, and radar recognition technology, FLUIDS invites audiences to touch the wall and interact with the installation, becoming part of the artwork themselves. Whether actively engaging with the installation or quietly observing, each audience member is offered a unique and captivating viewing experience.

Developed using a combination of Photoshop for initial creative design, Unity3D for software logic design, and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modeling, FLUIDS pushes the boundaries of interactive art and digital innovation.

FLUIDS made its debut as a special exhibition at the first Digital Art Innovation Development and Cross-Border Integration Summit in 2019, marking a significant milestone in the convergence of art and technology.
