Illustrated Book "Olympic Sun" by Mostafa Abdelmawla

Mostafa Abdelmawla's "Olympic Sun" is a captivating tribute to the Tokyo 2021 Olympic Games, featuring vibrant and dimensional illustrations that showcase the excellence, persistence, and passion of Olympic athletes. The book, designed to be friendly and approachable to children, offers a dynamic and engaging visual experience, with illustrations connected throughout the pages and a vivid color palette that encourages interaction with the story.

The project, which began in September 2019 and concluded in July 2020, faced challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic, resulting in a publishing date of July 2021. Inspired by real figures from the history of the Olympic Games, the illustrator conducted qualitative research to capture the anatomy of movements and career highlights of famous Olympians, resulting in vivid illustrations powered by an energetic color palette and unique perspectives.

"Olympic Sun" has been recognized with the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration, and Visual Communication Design in 2022, reflecting the designer's prodigy and wisdom in creating a trendsetting and impactful work of art.
