Xian Li Introduces "Zero Bully Campus" Learning Game
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Xian Li introduces "Zero Bully Campus," an immersive game designed for game-based teaching to prevent school bullying. The project aims to create a virtual simulation teaching environment to strengthen students' abilities to distinguish and build resilience in the face of bullying events.
The game, developed for Windows PC, macOS, iOS, and Android devices using Unity, Photoshop, and Illustrator, transforms the campus environment into a digital space. It allows students to learn and choose how to provide assistance when encountering or witnessing bullying events. The game also teaches students how to cooperate with others to prevent bullying events.
Created in Taiwan from January to August 2020, "Zero Bully Campus" has been located at Xiamen University in Xiamen, China, since September 2020. The project was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2021 for its innovative and practical approach to bullying prevention through game-based learning.
Xian Li, a Master's student at Xiamen University, has dedicated herself to mental health intervention and the compilation of teaching materials. Her research interests include the analysis and intervention research of qualitative information on the prevention and treatment of bullying and health communication on campus.
