Exquisite Design for Source One Vodka

AETHER NY, LLC proudly presents the stunning structure, branding, and packaging design for Source One Vodka, a single-estate vodka distilled from locally grown oats and water from the Sierra snowmelt. Inspired by the intricate greenhouse architectural elements, the glass bottle features offset panels creating an endless spiraling illusion when turned.

The glass bottle, sourced by Pavisa in Mexico, is complemented by labels printed on Fasson Classic Crest cotton paper, featuring debossing, embossing, and foil stamping. The wooden closure with Birch Wood and natural cork adds a touch of elegance. With a height of 278 mm and a diameter of 90 mm, this design stands out with its unique combination of structure and branding.

The project, which began in late 2018 and extended to late 2019 with revisions and extensions to different variants, was awarded Platinum in A' Packaging Design Award in 2020, recognizing its exceptional and highly innovative design that contributes to societal wellbeing. The design team overcame challenges to seamlessly create the spiraling illusion, ensuring the design integrity was maintained throughout the production process.

The brand identity and packaging serve to honor the journey from the oat grains grown on the ranch to the snowmelt water of Sierra Nevada, narrated through thoughtful design elements.
