Seethink introduces a visual identity system for Eastart, a training institution of Chinese Go, aiming to promote traditional culture and engage young enthusiasts.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Seethink proudly presents its latest branding design for Eastart, a training institution dedicated to Chinese Go. The project, initiated in March 2019 in Taiyuan, culminated in a visually captivating visual identity system that seamlessly blends traditional Chinese culture with modern elements. The inaugural ceremony took place on 1st July 2019, marking a significant milestone for the institution.
The design team drew inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of Chinese Go, incorporating elements reminiscent of Yinyang and the artistry of Shigeo Fukuda. The fusion of traditional ink and brush style with contemporary graphics and logos resulted in a unique visual language that resonates with both children and adults.
Utilizing digital printing and laser engraving, the design specifications include name cards, writing paper, and teaching cards, each meticulously crafted to reflect the essence of the institution. The project received widespread acclaim, earning the Bronze A' Design Award in 2020 for its exceptional creativity and contribution to promoting Chinese culture.
