Ziyi Zhou, a student at ArtCenter College of Design, has unveiled a groundbreaking mobile application, Piggy Money Saving, designed to revolutionize the way young people manage and save money. The app, developed for the iOS system, aims to address the lack of financial management tools tailored to the needs of young millennials.

The inspiration for the app stemmed from Ziyi's extensive research, which revealed a significant gap in the market for apps that help young people manage their finances. With a focus on user-centered design, the app offers personalized financial savings plans to encourage users to set and achieve their saving goals.

Utilizing a combination of user interface design using XD and illustrations created with AI, Ziyi has crafted a visually appealing and user-friendly platform. The app's interaction involves a registration process to collect necessary user information and set up small deposit goals, followed by personalized saving plans and rewards upon goal achievement.

Ziyi's dedication to addressing the financial challenges faced by young people has not gone unnoticed. The Piggy Money Saving app was recently honored with the Bronze A' Design Award in Mobile Technologies, Applications, and Software Design, recognizing its innovative approach to promoting financial literacy and savings habits among young users.
