Roses and Kaleidoscope NFT Digital Art Collection

Rozita Sophia Fogelman, a conceptual artist and eco-friendly designer, unveils the Roses and Kaleidoscope collection, a pioneering NFT digital art series inspired by kaleidoscope patterns and Unicode characters. The collection, which debuted at the Laguna Beach Fine Art Gallery in June 2020, aims to exhibit works of great symmetry and balance, symbolizing change and growth.

Fogelman's unique approach involves using Unicode and ASCII 8 & 16-bit characters as the basic building blocks to design patterns, abstract models, and digital illustrations. The design process starts in HTML text fields on the Facebook page, where Fogelman creates digital graphic patterns by typing Unicode characters and utilizing repetitive actions.

Utilizing Unicode and ASCII characters over HTML text fields, Fogelman has expanded the use of the 8-bit simple system to develop a graphic system for interchange, transforming the traditional text editor input field into a digital drafting paper. The project, which began in June 2021 in Berkeley, California, has been exhibited at MuseumIO, Laguna Art Gallery, California, and Multisala Corallo, Italy.

The Roses and Kaleidoscope collection is a testament to Fogelman's innovative use of ASCII and Unicode characters to create sophisticated and vibrant digital patterns, setting up an interactive digital patterns bank on Facebook. This groundbreaking NFT digital art series has been recognized with the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in 2023, acknowledging its well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements.
