Kingston University's MA Fashion course celebrates its 10th anniversary with a unique poster campaign designed by Kalyani Kamat Bambolkar, showcasing the event at The Design Museum, London.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Kingston University's MA Fashion course recently marked its 10th anniversary with a unique poster campaign designed by Kalyani Kamat Bambolkar. The campaign was showcased at The Design Museum, London, to celebrate the finest works of 10 fashion students. The posters, designed to symbolize the event, featured marks left by designer clothes on the body in the shape of 'X', representing the tenth anniversary of the fashion school. The posters were also used for E-invites, brochures, and stage slideshows, creating a buzz around the event.
The posters were a result of a combination of photography and graphic design, with raw images enhanced in Adobe Photoshop to incorporate event details. Additionally, E-invites and brochures were created using the same photos, providing guests with event information and the opportunity to RSVP. The brochures, printed in 297 x 420 mm, contained details and schedules of the event, along with contact information for the participating fashion students. The posters, printed in 841 x 1189mm, were strategically displayed to generate excitement and curiosity about the fashion show.
Kalyani Kamat Bambolkar's innovative approach to the poster campaign received recognition, as the design was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2020. This prestigious accolade acknowledges the exceptional creativity and professional excellence demonstrated in the unique poster campaign, which effectively captured the essence of Kingston University's MA Fashion 10th anniversary celebration.
