Experience the Historical Journey of Soviet Officials in a Unique Multimedia Installation
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Pitch Bureau has unveiled a groundbreaking multimedia installation at the Russian Railway Museum, offering visitors an immersive experience into the past. The Polonceau Railway Carriage combines a rare carriage with a multi-screen video wall, showcasing the inner space of a private premium carriage used by prominent Soviet officials. This historically accurate installation is a result of collaboration with The Art Combine for Museums & Exhibitions LCC (KMVI LCC).
The installation features a 4.2m high video wall consisting of 5 screens, covering a distance of about 22m. The video content, created using chroma key technique for compositing filmed action and CGI, is synchronized with the movement of the video wall, providing visitors with a glimpse into historical episodes that may have taken place inside the carriage.
Visitors will witness the typical business trip of Vyacheslav Molotov, a notorious Soviet Minister of Foreign Affairs, as they move along the premium carriage Polonceau. The episode was recreated by one-shot filming with custom high-accuracy motion control technology, offering explanations for the interior environment. The installation is equipped with an industrial safety system, ensuring a safe and engaging experience for all visitors.
The Polonceau Railway Carriage is a testament to Pitch Bureau's commitment to innovation and excellence in design, earning the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in 2021. This award recognizes the outstanding expertise and innovation demonstrated in this remarkable installation, showcasing a remarkable level of excellence and introducing positive feelings, amazement, and wonder to all who experience it.
