FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Jiaqi Song's poster series for Harlem Health Advocacy Partners stands out as a visually engaging and impactful campaign. Inspired by the vibrant culture of Harlem, the posters are designed to resonate with the local residents, effectively promoting essential services provided by the organization. The series includes a brand lockup and various illustrated icons representing different services, all created using Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop. The digital designs are printed in a poster size of 24 x 30 inches, ensuring maximum visibility and impact.
Each poster is a visual representation of a specific service provided by Harlem Health Advocacy Partners, employing a pop art and evocative graphic style to capture attention and convey the organization's message. The campaign posters are strategically designed to communicate clearly with the residents, making the services easily understandable and accessible. The project, initiated in June 2017 and completed in September 2017 in New York City, involved extensive research to understand the needs and preferences of the Harlem community.
Jiaqi Song's innovative approach overcame the creative challenge of balancing messaging and visual communication, ensuring that the posters effectively convey the "Harlem Style" while promoting the services of Harlem Health Advocacy Partners. The series was recognized with the Bronze A' Design Award in 2021, highlighting its outstanding creativity and contribution to improving the quality of life in the community.
