Primary Residence: A Bauhaus-Inspired Visual Branding Project
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Tianzhen Evleen Huang unveils "Primary Residence," a visual branding project inspired by the Chinese character Ju, symbolizing living space. The logo's primary colors integrate with the character, embodying the architectural theme. This identity system explores the human condition and the meaning of home in an age of isolation, drawing from the Bauhaus Movement's style and abstract architectural forms. The project's name, "Primary Residence," reflects the classic color scheme and the deeper messages it conveys.
The logo will be printed on textured paper to provide a tactile experience. With a main specification of 1080px*1080px, the logo design is a visual representation of the brand's identity and messages. The project, initiated in July 2021 and completed in February 2022, has been recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in 2022 for its innovative and practical approach.
Tianzhen Evleen Huang, based in Cliffside Park, United States, has successfully merged the elements of the Primary Residence type design with the brand logo, creating a unique and thought-provoking visual identity. The project's research aimed to visualize the architectural theme and develop a cohesive design strategy, resulting in an active print including brochure design, business cards, and a custom stationery kit.
