FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Pedro Salgado Unveils "Maybe" App to Revolutionize Menstrual Education

Pedro Salgado, a visionary designer from Puebla, Mexico, has unveiled "Maybe," a revolutionary mobile application aimed at transforming the way parents and educators approach menstrual education for young girls. Inspired by the unfortunate experiences of young girls, "Maybe" is a multifunctional app that provides timely education and data analysis to prevent negative experiences related to menstruation.

The "Maybe" app comprises two main components: a comprehensive educational platform and a data analysis system. By providing an approximate date for a girl's first period and offering insights into topics related to menstruation and sexuality, the app empowers parents and educators to address these subjects at the right time and in the right manner.

Developed for both iOS and Android platforms, "Maybe" features a user-friendly interface designed to provide a seamless and intuitive experience. The app leverages historical data about the girl's habits, food, sports activities, and more to predict the probability of her first menstruation. Additionally, it offers filtered articles written by psychologists, doctors, and specialists to equip parents and teachers with the knowledge needed to guide and educate young girls effectively.

"Maybe" is the result of extensive research and collaboration with parents, psychologists, doctors, and specialists to address the taboo surrounding menstruation and its impact on young girls' physical and emotional development. The app aims to empower girls with the knowledge and understanding of their bodies, fostering a healthy lifestyle and combating societal taboos.

Pedro Salgado's "Maybe" project commenced in September 2019 and continues to make strides in revolutionizing menstrual education in Puebla, Mexico. The app has been recognized with the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in Interface, Interaction, and User Experience Design in 2021, underscoring its exceptional innovation and technical prowess.
