Rame Puro: Handmade Metallic Sculptures

Timur Bazaev presents Rame Puro, a captivating series of metallic sculptures that redefine the concept of interior accessories. Each sculpture is meticulously crafted from whole pieces of copper, aluminum, and iron, with a hand-polished finish that highlights the natural beauty of the metals. The center of each sculpture is polished to a shine, creating a striking contrast with the untouched edges that retain their original industrial character.

These sculptures, born out of a meticulous design process, are not just utilitarian objects but also serve as captivating sculptures within their calm states. The main challenge during the creation process was to ensure that the sculptures resembled natural formations rather than handmade objects, leading to numerous iterations to achieve the desired thickness and relief.

Rame Puro was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Fine Arts and Art Installation Design category in 2020, recognizing its outstanding creativity and ingenious design that authentically combines art, science, and technology. This collection stands as a testament to Timur Bazaev's strong technical and creative skills, contributing to the improvement of quality of life through art and design.
