Chao Yang's Innovative Fusion of Eastern and Western Cultures in Ceramic Crafts
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Chao Yang's "East and West" collection is a remarkable fusion of oriental and western styles, reimagining the cultural elements of Jingdezhen through post-modern art concepts. The unique ant-shaped ceramic handicrafts are crafted using recycled traditional blue and white paper, integrating modern electroplating technology. Each piece showcases the designer's dedication to sustainability and cultural innovation.
The main image of ants is determined through sculpture mold turning, and a large amount of wasted blue and white paper is recycled for design, which is made in combination with modern electroplating technology. The ant sculptures measure 160mm in length, 120mm in depth, and 300mm in height, adding a touch of elegance and artistry to any space.
Handcrafted in Jingdezhen, these ceramics are fired at high temperatures, ensuring each piece is unique. The project, which commenced in July 2020, was completed in July 2021, showcasing the meticulous research and dedication that went into the creation of these exquisite works of art.
