Fattoria il Gambero, a renowned winery with roots tracing back to 1880, has unveiled a new visual identity designed by Laura Ferrario. The logo, a stylized "G," symbolizes a corkscrew uncorking a bottle and represents the road leading to the company. The use of a sans serif font adds solidity to the symbol, while the burgundy color reflects the full-bodied Pinot Nero wine, a flagship product of the winery.
The visual identity extends to the wine labels, where the "G" symbol is prominently featured. For younger wines, clear labels with colorful graphics are used, while for more mature wines, darker and shiny graphics on colored labels are employed. This approach reflects the winery's well-balanced blend of innovation, color, and contemporaneity, while honoring its rich history.
Laura Ferrario, the creative director behind the project, emphasized the integration of modernity with tradition. The project encompassed the brand, labels, website, and brochure, with all communication rooted in the owner's family history. The names of the wines draw inspiration from the owner's grandfather's horses, adding a personal touch to the winery's offerings.
