Sonia Alins Unveils "Into the Water" Art Series

Sonia Alins presents "Into the Water," a captivating series of artworks inspired by surrealism and visual poetry. The collection, completed in November 2016, showcases mysterious and delicate collages that convey emotion through expressive figures emerging from an aquatic environment.

Each artwork, measuring 500mm x 500mm x 45mm, is the result of a meticulous creation process using watercolor paper, cardboards, polypropylene sheets, and wool to add different textures. The pieces aim to evoke an ethereal sensation, combining transparency and different levels of perception to achieve an unreal atmosphere.

The "Into the Water" series has been recognized for its uniqueness, with one piece selected as a finalist at the World Illustration Awards 2016 and part of an exhibition tour across the UK. The collection offers viewers an intense interaction, drawing them into a world of surrealism and symbolism.
