FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

New Visual Identity Design for German Embassy in Vilnius

Salvita Bingelyte, a renowned designer from Vilnius, Lithuania, has unveiled a new visual identity design for the German Embassy in Vilnius, symbolizing the diplomatic relations between Lithuania and Germany. The logo, awarded Silver in A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award in 2021, showcases the flags of Lithuania and Germany through the symbol of check marks.

The logo was inspired by the tricolor national flags of Lithuania and Germany, with three check marks created for each country using the colors of their flags. The marks represent two parallel sides, like train tracks heading in opposite directions, but coming back together again and being connected. The red check marks are combined, representing friendship and unity between the two countries.

The symbol of Lithuanian-German cooperation is easily applied to stationery, outdoor advertising, and corporate gifts, and can be used in many places by combining more symbols in one line to create a pattern. To enhance the visibility of the logo and keep the original colors, it was decided to use a colored symbol on a white background.

Salvita Bingelyte's design highlights the relationship between the two countries by visually uniting the colors of their flags. The logo reflects the moment when two countries diplomatically unite, moving forward together into the future. The colorful marks provide a dynamic symbol, expressing the multifaceted relationship between Lithuania and Germany.

Started in January 2021 and finished in February 2021 in Vilnius, Lithuania, the design project overcame various creative, technical, and research challenges to arrive at a modern and memorable logo design. The logo will be used by the German Embassy in Lithuania for its external communication, events, and promotional goods.

Salvita Bingelyte, known for her dedication to every project, believes that mutual trust is key to successful client relationships. She encourages her clients to think outside the box and remains focused on visual content that is simple but innovative with long-lasting value for clients.
