Discover the innovative Massaya wine packaging design by Vicken Demirdjian - BRANDIT, a horizontal, reusable package inspired by vintage books, perfect for wine enthusiasts.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Massaya, a unique and functional packaging design by Vicken Demirdjian - BRANDIT, reimagines the traditional wine package. Unlike typical vertical wine packages, Massaya is a horizontal, decorative package designed to hold two wine bottles, inspired by the timeless allure of vintage books.
Breaking away from the conventional trend of discarding wine packages after use, Massaya offers a reusable solution that stays true to the essence of the wine it holds. The design not only provides a secure storage solution for wine bottles but also doubles as a decorative box, adding a touch of elegance to any display shelf.
With dimensions of 39x22x8cm, the inner part features a special die-cut to safely cradle two wine bottles. The closing system, designed with two side flaps and two small flaps, ensures a perfect seal without the need for additional stickers.
Designed in winter 2013, Massaya was the result of extensive research and experimentation to create a cost-effective and functional package. The use of corrugated paper proved to be the ideal choice to support the weight of the bottles, resulting in a successful production run during the Christmas season.
Recognized for its innovation and practicality, Massaya was honored with the Iron A' Design Award in 2014. This prestigious accolade celebrates designs that meet professional and industrial requirements, integrating industry best practices and technical characteristics while contributing to a better world.
