Lucky Turtle Lighting Design

IDA Technology Co., Ltd. presents "Turtle Comes, Luck Comes," a unique lighting installation inspired by the blessing of sea turtles and the belief in their ability to bring infinite luck. This interactive sculpture, created by artist Chang Jianxiang, stands at 720cmx1000cmx400cm and is made of epoxy resin and metal. It features a crystal ball that, when touched, triggers a change in the turtle's body and eyes, symbolizing the bestowal of luck and happiness.

The design, showcased at the 2020 Penghu Bay International Light Festival in Taiwan, embodies the oriental expectations of faith and the power of blessing. It aims to meet people's expectations and comfort the soul through its artistic representation. The intricate wave patterns on the turtle's body symbolize the hope for the safe return of fishermen, while the colorful stacking and clustering represent the richness of marine resources and the wish for the island and ocean to coexist and prosper.

Recognizing its exceptional creativity and technical excellence, "Turtle Comes, Luck Comes" was honored with the Silver A' Design Award in the Fine Arts and Art Installation category in 2021. This prestigious accolade celebrates the design's outstanding innovation, strong technical characteristics, and remarkable artistic skill, evoking positive emotions and wonder among its audience.
