Best Moments - A Showcase of Polish Design

Izabela Jurczyk's "Best Moments" is a one-of-a-kind polaroid photo album, blending traditional charm with modern functionality. Inspired by the need to preserve precious memories in a world inundated with fleeting digital images, this album serves as a timeless repository for cherished moments. Commissioned by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute to showcase Polish design internationally, it features a hand-made design with ecological paper containing skin debris, giving it a unique vintage feel. The album comprises two parts - a section for photos and descriptions, and an external case, elegantly connected and protected by an elastic string.

The album's realization involved the use of ecological paper with skin debris, replacing traditional cellulose fibers. The paper's surface, soft to the touch, is adorned with beautiful copper gilding, while the casing is refined with hot stamping using copper foil. The hand-made cover, secured with gold screws, exudes a luxurious appeal, making "Best Moments" a truly exceptional creation.

Measuring 230mm x 128mm x 16mm, "Best Moments" is not just a photo album but a unique photo-diary, maintaining an elegant vintage style. It provides a functional and beautiful way to store photos and contact entries, making it a truly remarkable piece of design.
