Alberto March's editorial design project "Safer Food" aims to promote global food safety, addressing the increasing challenges and risks associated with the food supply chain. The project was realized from March 2022 to March 2023, spanning Geneva, Switzerland, and Barcelona, Spain.

The "Safer Food" editorial design project by Alberto March is inspired by the growing significance of food safety in the global supply chain. The project aims to convey and recognize food safety information, incorporating input from the Technical Advisory Group on Food Safety: Safer Food for Better Health.
The design includes a comprehensive report available in both print and interactive PDF formats for web use, as well as PowerPoint presentations and roll-up banners for conferences. The project utilized Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop for its realization.
The print version of the report is A4-sized with 76 pages, featuring full-color offset printing on paper. The web version is also A4-sized with interactive features, while the roll-up banners for conferences measure 200 cm x 80 cm.
Alberto March's design project "Safer Food" addresses the challenges of conveying food safety information effectively. The project incorporates a user-friendly interactive PDF for web use and a printed version, aiming to engage a broad audience and promote global food safety.
The "Safer Food" project faced creative, technical, and research challenges, particularly in selecting suitable layout designs and relevant photographs to effectively depict the specific themes mentioned in each section of the report. The project aimed to engage the audience and encourage interest in proposed policies and actions in food safety.

The WHO Global Strategy for Food Safety has been awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Print and Publishing Media Design category. The project was designed by Alberto March, and was selected by the esteemed judges of the A' Design Awards & Competitions from among many nominated projects. The vision of the WHO Global Strategy for Food Safety 2022-2030 is to ensure that people around the world consume safe and healthy food, thereby reducing the burden of foodborne diseases.
