Jin Jeon's ongoing 3D animation project "Alignment to Air" captivates with its dynamic and meaningful approach to typography.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Jin Jeon, a motion designer based in New York City, draws inspiration from the 36 days of type projects, aiming to create more meaningful and unique animations that go beyond the conventional beauty of design. His project "Alignment to Air" stands out as a testament to this vision.
What sets "Alignment to Air" apart is its meticulous attention to detail, presenting precise and elaborate moments for the first word, while also manifesting a flexible and loose vibe for the last letter, showcasing the designer's versatility and creativity.
Realized using Maxon Cinema 4D, Octane, and Adobe Creative Cloud tools, this 29-second video at 1080 x 1080 pixels captures the transformation of the alphabet "A" with various visual effects, engaging viewers with its dynamic performance.
Started in March 2020, this ongoing project is a testament to Jin Jeon's dedication to pushing the boundaries of design and animation, as he continues to share his progress on social media and his online portfolio.
Throughout the project, Jin conducted extensive research, gathering a wide variety of related images and videos to capture the contrasting vibes of "Alignment" and "Air," reflecting the organized and systematic visuals of the former and the relaxed and easy elements of the latter.
Despite facing creative and technical challenges in modeling, texturing, and animating the sophisticated abstract shapes, Jin's commitment to delivering a unique and impactful animation shines through in "Alignment to Air."
Jin Jeon's "Alignment to Air" project has been recognized with the prestigious Platinum A' Design Award in the Movie, Video, and Animation Design category, showcasing his exceptional talent and innovative approach to design.
