HIROSHI KURISAKI, a distinguished Japanese graphic designer, has unveiled the captivating Sparrow Branding, a unique corporate identity design for SPARROW, a Tokyo-based advertising production company founded in 2020. The design features a sparrow, the inspiration behind the company's name, intertwined with a pine tree, symbolizing protection and progress.
The concept stems from a story of a pine tree safeguarding a sparrow, inspiring the company's founder and reflecting a wish for the new company to overcome challenges and thrive. The design, including the logo, main visuals, and stationery, was meticulously crafted by HIROSHI KURISAKI Design Inc.
Incorporating real pine trees and a lifelike sparrow model, the design achieves a sense of realism, steering clear of a cutesy tone and instead exuding strength and seriousness to align with the company's ethos of taking on challenges. The project, which commenced in the summer of 2021 in Tokyo, took approximately two months from conceptualization to realization.
