The Hangzhou Scenery series draws inspiration from the city's rich history and culture, aiming to be the city's ambassador through vibrant illustrations on its packaging.
The sleek and ergonomic bottle shape, made from eco-friendly glass, encourages consumers to reuse the bottle, contributing to a reduction in plastic waste. The heat transfer printing technology used for the labels ensures a stunning effect, showcasing intricate details of the city's urban features.
The 318-milliliter capacity of the bottle promotes one-time consumption without environmental guilt, minimizing wastage. This design, launched in December 2023, has already been recognized with a Bronze A' Design Award in 2024, highlighting its outstanding and creatively ingenious approach to mineral water packaging.
In the creation of this packaging series, extensive consumer interviews and in-depth research on iconic landmarks, historical narratives, and local legends were conducted to ensure the design stands out in the market. Overcoming the challenge of designing large-area, vibrant labels for glass bottles, Peng GuoZhi and the design team continuously refined and optimized the design to achieve a stunning effect.
