Najeeb Omar's "Anubis The Judge" is a captivating illustration inspired by the mysterious mythology of ancient Egypt. The design, which took shape from August 2017 to July 2018, reflects the divine charisma and unmatched power of the Egyptian god, Anubis. The illustration encompasses well-thought-out geometrical elements that symbolize the seriousness and boldness of Anubis, known as the judge of the afterlife. The meticulous attention to detail and the use of traditional and digital techniques make this piece a standout creation.

Omar's research delved deep into Egyptian history, hieroglyphics, and symbols to ensure an authentic representation of the iconic character. The design's unique properties are evident in the dense design elements, including the chocker around the neck area, symbolizing the final judgment, and the inclusion of the beetle to highlight the intercession process. The realization of this design involved a meticulous freehand sketch, followed by digital refinement using Illustrator and Photoshop, resulting in a striking artwork measuring W68 cm x H95 cm, with 300 dpi and RGB colors.

This versatile design can be appreciated as a standalone artwork or transformed into various forms, including 3D sculptures or animated characters. The project received the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in 2020, recognizing its practicality, innovation, and integration of industry best practices.
