Structure, Branding, and Packaging Design for Labelist Cosmetics

Gal·la Termes, in collaboration with Brand Manager Esperança Figuerola, PR Manager Marta Rodríguez, and Support Designer Antonio Castilla, has created a new cosmetic brand, Labelist Cosmetics, following the Clear Beauty trend. The range includes 9 different cosmetics divided into 3 levels: essential, treatment, and intensive. The packaging design aims to provide a unique user experience, with a focus on sustainability and the Clear Beauty trend.

The packaging features a range of colors chosen to evoke a healthier environment for the consumer, with gradients created using iriodin varnish to add movement. The packaging also incorporates a pre-cut that allows consumers to view the product without fully opening it, enhancing the user experience. The design utilizes 3-ink offset printing on graphic cardboard, with varnish soft touch and iriodin varnish to emphasize softness and create nuanced gradients.

The cosmetics are formulated with pure and reliable ingredients, following the Clear Beauty trend, and are free from harmful ingredients such as SLS, SLES, parabens, formaldehydes, phthalates, and hydroquinone. The brand is committed to being cruelty-free, with minimalist formulas and minimal additives to ensure maximum effectiveness.

The project, which commenced in July 2019 and concluded in August 2020 in Barcelona, will be exhibited on sales platforms in November 2020. Labelist Cosmetics has already captured the attention of international distributors during pre-sale activations, demonstrating its potential in the market.

Gal·la Termes' innovative design for Labelist Cosmetics' packaging has successfully differentiated the three product levels through color, touch, and packaging, aligning with current sector trends and attracting customer attention. The design overcame challenges in the competitive cosmetics sector, delivering an attractive and budget-conscious solution.
