Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy introduces the New Hanoi Arts House, a five-story public art exhibition house, showcasing her public artworks since 2006.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy, the mastermind behind the Hanoi Ceramic Mural project, has unveiled the New Hanoi Arts House, a five-story building overlooking West Lake, showcasing her public artworks since 2006. The house features murals, paintings, and images of public artworks, offering visitors a unique and immersive experience.
The New Hanoi Arts House reflects the murals, paintings, and images of public artworks designed by Thu Thuy since 2006. Murals featuring flora and fauna are on the first two floors, while photography highlighting Thu Thuyâs past public artworks lines the stairwell. A mirror room on the fifth floor, designed by Thu Thuy and Mike Savad, combines graphic imagery with an iconic symbol of Vietnam. Even the outdoor balcony serves as a flower garden, and entrance is free of charge.
The five-story building hosts art events and new creative projects by Thu Thuy. Each floor, covering 50m2 divided into two rooms, offers a unique experience. The first floor is adorned with murals painted with acrylic representing the signature flowers of the capital. On the second floor, mini editions of her significant public artworks are displayed. The third and fourth floors feature galleries showcasing works by Vietnamese and foreign painters and photographers, including lacquer and oil paintings by Thu Thuy.
