patrizia dottori Unveils WoodBergs, a Unique Photographic Project
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Renowned photographer patrizia dottori introduces WoodBergs, a captivating photographic project that delves into the intersection of nature and environmental rights. The project, which began in November 2012 in New Canaan, Connecticut, and was last presented in April 2015 in Rome, showcases a series of striking images that challenge viewers to contemplate the impact of human actions on the environment.
WoodBergs is a collection of seven works centered around the elements of nature, with a particular focus on flora. The images, belonging to the Winter series, depict trees in negative, printed directly on aluminum. This unique approach aims to raise awareness of the consequences of human activities on the environment, urging viewers to reflect on the urgent need for environmental preservation.
Utilizing a Samsung S7edge smartphone and Adobe Photoshop, dottori captured and inverted the images, enhancing the colors and creating a surreal visual experience. The resulting photographs, printed directly on aluminum, measure 900mm x 650mm (horizontal) with a depth of 0.5mm, adding a tangible and immersive element to the thought-provoking imagery.
Continuing her exploration of nature and environmental advocacy, dottori's WoodBergs project challenges viewers to reconsider their relationship with the natural world. By merging her passion for photography with a deep concern for environmental issues, dottori's work serves as a powerful call to action, urging individuals to take responsibility for the planet's well-being.
