Igor Dydykin Unveils Stool Glavy Roda, a Chair Reflecting Family Values and Craftsmanship

Igor Dydykin introduces Stool Glavy Roda, a chair designed to embody the characteristics inherent to the Head of the Family, crafted from affordable eco-friendly materials. The chair reflects integrity through its lines, organization via sustainable construction, and self-discipline through ascetic and functional ergonomics.
The chair's right angles, basic forms, and ornament elements connect the past and present, creating a timeless object with holistic geometry.
Various methods, including hand sketching, 3D modeling, and CNC milling, were employed in its creation. All elements were meticulously made and assembled by hand in a specialized workshop.
Stool Glavy Roda stands at a height of 975 mm, with a width of 570 mm and a depth of 525 mm.

The project commenced in February 2019 and concluded in December 2019 in Tolyatti, Russia. The design emphasizes the connection with nature and traditions of old craftsmanship, utilizing environmentally friendly materials.
Stool Glavy Roda was awarded Silver in A' Furniture Design Award in 2021, recognized for its outstanding expertise, innovation, and remarkable level of excellence.
