Kush Kaveh's Artemis Clinics app, developed in Izmir, Turkey, has been honored with the Bronze A' Mobile Technologies, Applications and Software Design Award 2025 for its innovative approach to simplifying and securing the medical tourism journey for international patients seeking treatment in Turkey and the UAE.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Artemis Clinics, designed by Kush Kaveh, addresses the complex and often overwhelming process faced by health tourists navigating treatment abroad. Inspired by the need for trust, clarity, and emotional reassurance, Artemis leverages user empathy, UX research, and AI technology to create a seamless, mobile-first experience for patients worldwide. The app is tailored for those seeking medical care in destinations like Turkey and the UAE, offering a comprehensive solution that goes beyond traditional health directories.
Unlike standard platforms, Artemis integrates verified doctor listings, AI-powered consultations, a smart trip planner, live chat, and personalized timelines into a single, intuitive interface. The design prioritizes accessibility, multilingual support, and responsive navigation, ensuring users can easily search for clinics, consult with providers, and manage their medical journey from initial research to post-operative care. The app's modular architecture supports API-ready modules for clinic data, AI messaging, trip scheduling, and secure payment processing, making it adaptable for future expansion and web adaptation.
The development of Artemis began in April 2024 in Izmir, with extensive qualitative research involving health tourism patients from Europe, North America, and Australia. Insights from interviews and journey mapping highlighted the importance of trust, timing, and clarity, leading to a user experience that balances detailed guidance with emotional support. Overcoming challenges related to legal, cultural, and technical barriers, the Artemis team has crafted a platform that empowers patients with confidence and control, setting a new standard in health tourism technology. The app is currently in the prototyping and integration phase, with a full launch planned for Q3 2025.
