"Culture to Technology Identity" Poster Bridges Anhui's Huizhou Heritage and Modern Innovation in Award-Winning Design

Lei Wang's "Culture to Technology Identity" placard has been recognized with the Platinum A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award for 2025, marking it as a world-class example of creative excellence. Conceived for Hefei High Tech Digital Technology Co., Ltd., the poster captures the transformation of Anhui Province from a region steeped in Huizhou culture to a leading hub of science and innovation. The design's upper section features the Chinese character for Anhui, framed by the iconic silhouettes of Huizhou architecture, which gradually morph into circuit patterns symbolizing technological progress. This seamless transition culminates in the four Chinese characters for Hefei High Tech, visually narrating the region's journey from tradition to modernity.

Produced with high-precision 300dpi drawings and measuring 60×90cm, the poster is tailored for bus stop light boxes and other public displays. Gradient blues, achieved through spot color overprinting, evoke the essence of Jiangnan and an optimistic outlook for the future, while UV local varnish on the circuit lines adds a tactile, three-dimensional effect. The design's simplicity and unity, guided by principles of oriental aesthetics, ensure an engaging visual flow that invites viewers to explore the interplay between history and innovation. Rigorous production standards guarantee color accuracy and durability for long-term outdoor exhibition.

The project, initiated in Hefei in February 2025 and completed in March 2025, reflects extensive research into Anhui's recent transformation, driven by breakthroughs in sectors such as new energy vehicles, quantum information, and green energy. Overcoming the creative challenge of blending traditional architectural motifs with modern technological elements, Lei Wang and the design team have produced a visual centerpiece that not only celebrates Anhui's rich legacy but also positions the Hefei High Tech Zone at the forefront of China's innovation landscape. The award-winning poster now serves as a symbol of convergence, inspiring both residents and visitors to envision a future where culture and technology advance hand in hand.
