Daichi Takizawa has reimagined Honki Factory's visual identity, completed in March 2024, to support its vision of establishing entrepreneurship training centers and to enhance trust among major corporations, resulting in significant business growth and international design accolades.

Honki Factory's New Visual Identity Drives Corporate Trust, Recruitment, and Industry Recognition

Honki Factory, under the creative direction of Daichi Takizawa, has launched a transformative visual identity aimed at reinforcing its mission to establish entrepreneurship training centers. Completed in March 2024, the new design was developed to gain credibility with large corporations and strengthen the company's recruitment appeal. The visual identity centers on a bold, adaptable logo inspired by the concept of a "frame" for new businesses and a "factory" for production, symbolizing both structure and opportunity. The variable "H" symbol and custom logotype reflect Honki Factory's flexibility to support diverse business types and industries.

The design process emphasized meticulous detail, with over 500 test patterns evaluated to achieve optimal aspect ratios, stroke thickness, and optical balance. The new identity features a distinctive red color representing "seriousness" and a spirit of challenge, while the open-door motif within the logo frame signals new opportunities for all. To ensure usability across the organization, Takizawa developed PowerPoint templates, predefined fonts and colors, and easily updatable assets for business cards and video conferencing backgrounds, allowing all employees-regardless of design experience-to consistently represent the brand.

Following the rollout, Honki Factory, despite having only ten employees, secured service agreements with more than 30 major Japanese corporations within a year, demonstrating the effectiveness of the new visual identity in building trust and credibility. The project's excellence has been recognized internationally, winning the Silver Award at the Graphis Design Awards 2025 (USA) and being featured in the Japan Typography Yearbook 2025. The visual identity's adaptability and strategic execution have significantly enhanced Honki Factory's brand value and industry standing.
