La Plage, designed by Ebru Sile Goksel and the Studio Born team, has been recognized with the prestigious Golden A' Design Award for its innovative approach to restaurant branding. Drawing inspiration from archival photographs of 1950s beachside lifestyles, the brand identity captures a unique blend of bohemian allure and seaside nostalgia. The project, which began in April 2024 and culminated in the restaurant's August 2024 opening in Istanbul, features vintage-inspired illustrations, expressive typography, and a refined palette of terracotta, green, and gold.

The design stands out for its holistic approach, extending the visual language across every touchpoint-from coasters and menus to staff uniforms and wall graphics. Playful slogans such as "Girls just wanna have sun" and "Sea la vie," paired with whimsical illustrations, infuse the brand with charm and a sense of escapism. Advanced printing techniques, including gold foil stamping and carefully selected materials, elevate the tactile experience, ensuring each detail contributes to a cohesive and memorable identity.

La Plage's branding is the result of extensive research into mid-century aesthetics, with every element meticulously crafted to evoke sun-soaked leisure and artistic storytelling. The collaboration between creative directors, designers, copywriters, and print specialists ensured that the brand's narrative was seamlessly integrated into both the restaurant's interior and its guest experience.
