Vitro Mobile EV: Redefining Household Mobility Through Autonomous, Sustainable Design

Vitro Mobile EV, designed by Jiaxing Guo, represents a significant leap forward in the field of autonomous vehicles, specifically targeting the household moving experience. Drawing inspiration from the streamlined elegance of low-profile cars and the ergonomic, accessible qualities of historical sedan chairs, the Vitro Mobile EV offers a modern, automated solution that prioritizes both form and function. Its advanced suspension system allows the chassis to lower for easy loading, making it highly adaptable and user-friendly for a wide range of moving needs.

This innovative electric vehicle operates autonomously and is charged at a central dispatch center, with additional solar panels on its roof to maximize clean energy usage. Users can summon the Vitro Mobile EV via a dedicated app, specifying their location, destination, and moving requirements. Upon arrival, the vehicle's side-mounted touchscreen enables intuitive control, ensuring a seamless and efficient moving process. The vehicle's spacious dimensions-over five meters in length and nearly three meters in width-are carefully balanced to provide ample storage while maintaining maneuverability within residential environments.

Developed through advanced 3D modeling, visualization, and simulation, the Vitro Mobile EV concept has undergone rigorous virtual testing to refine its suspension system and overall usability. The project addresses key challenges in traditional moving services, such as accessibility and physical effort, by leveraging automation and sustainable energy. Its recognition with the Iron A' Futuristic Design Award 2025 highlights the design's practical innovation, technical excellence, and commitment to creating a more convenient and environmentally responsible future for household mobility.
