Dan Sheng Creativity Raspberry Wine Packaging: Fusing Nature, Artistry, and Technical Innovation

Chao Xu's Dan Sheng Creativity raspberry wine packaging has been awarded the Bronze A' Packaging Design Award 2025, celebrating its outstanding fusion of natural inspiration and technical ingenuity. Drawing from the vibrant, organic form of raspberries, the bottle's smooth, rounded contours and vivid red finish create a striking visual and tactile experience that connects the consumer directly to the essence of the fruit. The crystal-clear cap, featuring a miniature landscape, elegantly reflects the wine's geographical origin, further enhancing the product's premium appeal.

The design process prioritized both aesthetics and functionality. The cap is crafted using a four-position metal mold, combining a transparent crystal top with food-grade plastic and an electroplated gold coating for durability and visual impact. The bottle itself, produced with a two-position metal mold, features white glass coated with a red glaze and pearlescent finish, while the label utilizes embossed gold foil paper baked at high temperatures for scratch resistance and longevity. These choices ensure the packaging is not only visually stunning but also practical, recyclable, and secure, with an airtight seal and anti-counterfeit features.

Developed between September 2022 and June 2023 in Shenzhen and Zhejiang, China, the project overcame significant technical and creative challenges, such as integrating bionics for a unique raspberry-inspired form and optimizing production techniques for both visual and tactile qualities. Extensive research, including 3D modeling, material testing, and user surveys, confirmed the design's ability to boost brand recognition and consumer appeal. The result is a packaging solution that balances ecological storytelling, minimalist art, and ergonomic usability, setting a new standard for premium beverage presentation.
