Idan Chiang of L'atelier Fantasia presents SoTai 3c, a 152.7 sqm residential project in Taiwan, blending neoclassical and Scandinavian design elements with a focus on art and functionality.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
SoTai 3c, designed by Idan Chiang of L'atelier Fantasia, is a residential project that harmoniously combines neoclassical and Scandinavian design influences. The space, spanning 152.7 sqm, including a balcony, features 3 bedrooms, 1 master bath, 1 guest bath, 1 living room, 1 dining room, 1 kitchen, and 1 balcony. The design is characterized by warm white tones, creamy gray, and a touch of Denmark's spirit.
The project's unique strength lies in its integration of music and childlike elements into the living space, creating a tasteful yet stylish ambiance. The fully open public area enhances the sense of openness and transparency, while the guest bathroom space uses black and white interlocking lines to maintain consistency with the overall design.
The design team, led by Chief Designer Idan Chiang, focused on creating a living space where art and functionality are seamlessly connected. The space is not just a static installation but a dynamic blend of art and function, shaping a stable visual sense with abstract and figurative lines.
One of the notable challenges overcome in the project was the customization of the master bedroom dressing room to accommodate the owner's specific storage needs, resulting in a more organized and functional space.
SoTai 3c was built in March 2020 in Taiwan and was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2021 for its outstanding expertise, innovation, and remarkable design qualities.
