Entry Building to Sberbank

Evolution Design has unveiled the entrance to Sberbank City, a new campus in Moscow, with a hyperbolic parabolic form that links two high-rise towers. The building's unique design features warm-colored, stainless steel panels that create playful reflections and a seamless indoor-outdoor vibe. The construction, which started in July 2020, was completed in June 2021.

The 4000 square meter building, designed by Tanya Ruegg and her team, spans three floors and accommodates entrance facilities, restaurants, a conference center, and event space. The design focused on efficiently accommodating the flow of 10,000 employees while also providing public access to event and conference areas.

The primary challenge was to create a spacious, daylight-flooded space without obstructing sunlight to the towers. The result is a representative entrance that minimizes sunlight obstruction to the offices in the towers, while accommodating all necessary functions. The building was awarded the Golden A' Design Award in 2022 for its outstanding and trendsetting design.
